I take great pride in working exclusively with top-quality noble materials that embody character and soul. Each piece I create is unique, carrying its own indelible story. Designed for everyday use and portability, my leather bags and accessories are built to last a lifetime. This commitment to quality extends to my butcher blocks and presentation boards; they will only improve with age.

My collection showcases meticulously designed leather handbags and accessories, some elegantly adorned with the perfect touch of repurposed fur. All hardware is crafted from solid brass or stainless steel, guaranteeing both durability and refined elegance. The thoughtful re-purposing of well-maintained furs adds a distinguished character to my leather handbags and accessories, elevating their distinctive appeal.

Every item is entirely handmade and finished in my studio, using repurposed antique and vintage hardwood tables—walnut, cherry, maple, and oak—aged to perfection over decades. Some pieces even date back to the mid to late 19th century. Occasionally, I source materials directly from my forest, utilizing fallen hardwood trees. All items have a food safe finish applied before being sold.

I am Salam El Rassi, a designer whose journey began collaborating with various Montreal designers, including Mariouche Gagné during her startup years from 1994 to 1995. I distinctly remember my interview when she showed me a sample cut from a fur coat. Reluctantly touching and running my fingers through that sample, it evoked an image of an animal running freely through a field. She said, "We are giving new life to the animal so its existence would not be in vain, offering it a second chance, resuscitating it." This beautiful philosophy inspired me to become an artisan leather worker and furrier, launching my own business in 1996.
